We started soboxsy in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time where gift box companies stopped shipments to Canada, which made an already daunting task of gift buying even harder! The Canadian gift box market was not very large and the US market was very expensive, especially once you factored in the exchange rate. To add to all this, our founder was vegan and a cruelty free shopper so it was necessary to make sure these ethics were at the core of our brand. We couldn't find any other gift box company like this, so we sprung into action because we wanted to make it easy to shop for vegans. As a result, soboxsy was born because we felt that consumers deserved a more modern approach to gifting, not only in the ethics department but also in the pricing department. Moreover, we support vendors who give back to the environment and practice sustainable and ethical business. All our products are vegan and cruelty free and all of our packaging is sustainable.
